Service Description: Environment Canterbury monitors flooding in the region, and maintains a collection of photographs taken during (or following) past flood events. Most are oblique aerial photographs, however some vertical aerial photographs and ground photographs are also available. For the area north of the Rakaia River, the locations of the vast majority of photographs held by Environment Canterbury have been mapped.
