This layer contains rock art sites (with buffers) for the OTOP area. It highlights these sensitive areas so that activities that might have a detrimental impact on the rock art can be considered in decision making. There are specific OTOP (Land and Water Regional Plan \u2013 Plan Change 7) rules which apply to these areas.<\/SPAN><\/P> <\/P> The Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga Act makes it unlawful for any person to modify or destroy, or cause to be modified or destroyed, the whole or any part of an archaeological site without the prior authority of Heritage New Zealand.<\/SPAN><\/P><\/DIV>",
